Our new email system provides significant benefits, many of which are behind the scenes. The primary new features that customers will notice are related to Webmail, as well as Spam and Virus Filtering.

New Webmail
There will be an updated and easier to use Webmail application to send and receive email messages from a Web browser.

Improved and Simplified emScan Filtering
The spam filtering uses an improved methodology that blocks messages based on the source rather than the content, reducing the need for a quarantine box. In fact, we recommend that you do not send spam to quarantine (see FAQ). If you still choose to view quarantined messages, you would do so in a separate Spam Folder within Webmail, and each email account would have its own Spam Folder.

 

The improved security of the mail system allows us to remove the CAPTCHA box from the Webmail login process. You will no longer be required to type in two partially-obscured words in the CAPTCHA challenge to access Webmail.  

Increased Email Storage

We anticipate being able to increase the email storage available for our customers. The amount of the increase will be determined after we have converted to the new system, so that will be announced at a later time.

 

Email Quota Indicator
There is an indicator that shows how much of your email storage quota is being used.
