Northland Continuing Education is offering a “Facebook For Your Business”. This course is an non-judgmental, introductory, hands-on course that will assist you in setting up a business Facebook page. With more than 50% of the U.S. population using Facebook, it is a popular place for businesses to connect with consumers. We will start at the beginning by talking about why your business needs a social media presence and then move to creating a new Facebook business page. We will walk through the process of editing that page, adding content, posting updates, inviting friends, growing your audience, and much more. We will also navigate through the Facebook icons and the Settings page. If you want to create a Facebook Business page or have created a Facebook Business page, but don’t know what to do with it, this class is for you. Participants will be asked to bring a picture or logo to upload (on a USB flash drive) and a paragraph about their business.
